Let It Bleed Book Website
This project for clients Rhino records and photographer Ethan Russell is a website to promote a beautiful picture book of photography that captures the Rolling Stones on their 1969 Let It Bleed US tour. Aaron collaborated with Los Angeles and Vancouver design team Expo Cooperative to build the site. Aaron developed the entire website using HTML, CSS, javascript, jQuery, Flash and Actionscipt 2.0.
Kathleen Edwards Website
This is the official website of Canadian singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards promoting her new album Asking for Flowers. Collaborating with Expo Cooperative designers, Aaron developed the entire website with Adobe Flash Professional CS3 and Actionscript 2.0. The website was architected to be fully updateable with XML.
Kathleen Edwards Blog
This is the blog of Canadian singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards. Her blog was developed by Aaron on a WordPress platform employing a unique theme with HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, and WordPress plug-ins. Recent photos in the sidebar are being pulled from Kathleen’s Flickr account.
Expo Cooperative Website
In collaboration with Los Angeles designers Casey Sheehan and Jon Jackson, Aaron developed this cross-browser compatible website for Expo Cooperative using a wide array of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Flash, Actionscript, jQuery, Javascript, PHP, XML, RSS, and WordPress. The Research page is built on a WordPress platform and the Work section of the site utilizes the jQuery Ajax Library. There are several Flash elements throughout the site.
Teknision.com on the iPhone
This is the iPhone/iPod Touch version of Teknision.com. Aaron developed the site with iUI – an iPhone development library, HTML, CSS, and javascript.
Overlay.tv
Overlay.tv is a new social web application that allows you to mark up any web video with overlays. Aaron collaborated with lead developers on this Flex project concentrating on building panels of the editor with Adobe Flex and coding functionality with Actionscript and MXML. He also processed graphics with Adobe Fireworks.
Flash Website for Fashion Designer Sarah Harkness
This Flash Website was built by Aaron for a friend who needed an online portfolio to showcase her fashion design pieces.
Flash Website
This is a Flash website for a concept luxury resort in Bali, Indonesia. Aaron designed and developed the site with Actionscript, timeline development, Flash layering techniques, HTML, CSS, and Photoshop. The music player is an externally loaded SWF file. The music player loads the mp3’s from an XML file. The rest of the site is one SWF file that is built on a single timeline. Images are loaded from an external file and accessed through Actionscript using the MovieClipLoader class.
Flash Game
The Great Canadian Clean-up is an educational Flash game made for Canadian Geographic. See this game live at www.cgkids.ca. It was designed to be a fun and engaging game for kids that educates on what the individual can do to prevent global warming. This project was completed with a team of 4. Aaron’s duties on the project included being the project manager, Actionscript programming, timeline development and developing the movie-clip animations in Flash. The content is loaded into the game from a XML file.
XML Menu
This is a dynamically created Flash XML menu made in Flash using Actionscript. All images, SWF’s, URL’s and text are dynamically loaded from XML files. All animations and SWF’s are created by Aaron unless otherwise noted.
Tutorial
This is a tutorial that demonstrates how to incorporate a Flash clock into a web page. This tutorial was built by Aaron using Flash Professional, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. There is a contact page with a form that has Javascript validation running on submit.
3D Assembly
This 3D motion graphics cabinet assembly was made with Electric Rain 3D Swift for Flash, Flash Professional, HTML, and CSS. Actionscript was used to program the functionality of the assembly.
iPod
This is a 3D version of Aaron’s iPod made with Electric Rain 3D Swift.
